Lord Jesus, I’m back for your direction. I’ve emailed half of my clients to inform them of the change, and am waiting to hear back from anyone before emailing the other half tomorrow.

What would you have me do next.

Michael, simply take one step in faith. Everything is built one action at a time. You’re getting overwhelmed by thinking too far into the future, and contemplating the worst case scenario of losing clients. Leave that to me. Simply do the next thing – take the next step.

Well, that’s why I’m coming to you Lord, to have clarity about the next step.

Michael, you know the next step. Fulfill your promise to your clients. Produce your reporting and look for improvements to their results. You don’t need me to tell you that.

You’re right, of course. Why am I really coming to you then?

You’re seeking validation. You’re unsure. But I’m telling you that you can step forward in confidence. You got this Michael. Knock it out of the park.

    Ok…

No trepidation, no fear… just action. Do what you know needs to be done. One step at a time. Don’t get caught up in building process right now. That will slow you down. Just fulfill the service to your clients for a couple cycles and then look for improvements to the process. You will find them, but you can’t let yourself be distracted from the production work right now. Head down and crank out the work.

    Ok Lord. Thank you.

Lord is there anything else you want to share with me today? Any other direction?

Michael, I am overjoyed to be having this communion and dialog with you again. It’s been far too long for you. Don’t let this be something you only make time for when you have a purpose for it. Remember, that I have purpose in this, and it’s to mold you and groom you into the man I need you to be. If you are devoted to me, that’s all that should matter to you. All this other stuff is simply a means to an end. The end is growing into the man I need you to become. You can get there quickly through communion with me, or more slowly by learning the hard way of your own experience.

Isn’t experience the best way to learn?

No, Michael. You don’t need to experience something in order to understand it and in order to act upon your understanding. That’s where faith and trust come in. Have faith in me and my teaching. Don’t have faith in your experience, as it will most certainly mislead you.

Ok Lord, I understand. And I am sorry that it’s been so long since I’ve opened myself to this communion with you. I read my compiled list of learnings from the prior years of my prayer journaling and it was so inspiring and it brought me back to you. I guess that was the intent for BoW all along. Thank you for inspiring me to record all those posts and the compiled list of lessons. It has been and will always be my greatest treasure.

Michael, I have much in store for you. You can’t even begin to envision the responsibility and blessing that is within your reach. Continue to grow, come to me often, and all that I have in store for you will be yours. Not these earthly possessions, but true blessing and peace and abundance.

    I can’t wait Lord.

Be well Michael. Come back to me soon (and you don’t have to be prepared to journal about it either).

I know, and I will. Thank you Lord.
