- Third part of heaven being cast to earth represents fallen angels (a 3rd of angels)
- 7 horns, ten heads = holy roman empire
- Bread represents the Word
- The only reason to join a church is because it is built upon the rock of the Word of God and Gospel of Christ
- A Christian without a church is like a nose without a body
- Whenever you find new light, there is always an initial struggle (imagine a bright light suddenly shining on you in a dark room – it takes time to adjust)
