Am I Ready?

Lord, are you ready to reveal to me how I will create time freedom in order to focus more fully on you?

The question is not whether I am ready, but whether you are.

Then, am I ready?

Yes, Michael, you are. Our prayer time last night is extremely important for you to keep top-of-mind throughout this process, but you are ready for your next step – freedom from professional time obligation.

This is scary. This seems like a test of our relationship – test in the sense of growth, not pass/fail.

Well, you could look at it that way.Or you could simply trust me and subject yourself to me.

Absolutely. I trust you wholly and choose subjection to you Lord. I release my self to your ‘current’ (as we talked about last night).

It’s one thing to say you subject your self, and another thing to do it consistently. The mind is constantly trying to vie for control.

I understand. I will be consistent in my prayer time with you so that you may correct my course constantly. I do not want to get ahead of your will, as I don’t want to end up finding myself alone without your guidance, and I certainly do not want to waste time on something that is not of your will.
