Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Heavenly Father. Thank you for the opportunity to know you, and love you. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for your perfect plan for my life, and thank you for forgiving me for thwarting it.

It’s all part of the process of becoming one with me. Your free will allows this.

I am sorry that I did not make time for you this weekend. I am so tired of my true intentions becoming subjugated to my immediate desires. Lord, please help me act as you would have me act.

That would interfere with your free will.

Can you help me act consistent with my true intentions?

No. I can, but will not.

Thank you for the opportunity to choose you, Lord. What will it take for me to act in accordance with your will?

First, you must know my will. This will come through constant communication with me. Second, you must act, according to my will. There’s no magic formula here. You will act according to my will when your heart is right. You cannot force your heart to be right or aligned with me. It is as it is, and your behavior, your choices and actions, are the “fruit” of the condition of your heart.

Will you help me condition my heart to be aligned with you?

    Yes.

I’m confused. You won’t help me act in accordance with your will, but you’ll condition my heart to do so? I guess that makes sense.

Of course it does. Why would I help you bear good fruit if your heart is not prepared to do so? It wouldn’t be good for you or me. I’ll help you create the right soil from which good fruit will naturally come.

Wow. It’s amazing to me that we can and do talk like this. i’m sure some people would call this “crazy”.

We talked about this over the weekend, you just didn’t write it down.

Can you help me recall the specifics?

Well, the bottom line is that acceptance is not what you should be after. you should be completely true to your-self, stand up for what you believe, make your-self known, and that will naturally attract those to you that complement your self. When you try to please everyone, you’ll either please no one, or you’ll be very unhappy with those that you attract.

Thank you, Lord. I feel that there was more we talked about that I’m not remembering.

The following was written in a way that I will call ‘forced’. It was like I was being given one word at a time, and God would not say any more until I wrote each word down. Like He didn’t want my interpretation or ability to understand what He was saying to get in the way of me writing down the idea.

Choice – I will not let you choose something that will be destructive to my plan for your life.

Ok, well – first of all, I don’t remember that at all. Second, doesn’t that contradict what you just said earlier about free will?

At this point, I’m wondering whether I’m really talking to God. Doubt is settling in.

    No.

More doubt. This seems to completely contradict. Am I forcing this ‘conversation’?

    Ok, can you please explain?

Michael, I won’t force your actions, but I can still guide your life. Paradoxical? It may seem like it to you, but it’s something I have done since the beginning of what you call ‘time’. There is a path.. you are on it.. you are on a path to holiness. You cannot choose otherwise. You are ‘saved’. The question is ‘where’ will you be when you are with Me. That ‘where’ will be determined by your choices and actions – the more ‘day-to-day’ choices and actions. But you are on my path for your life.

Hmm… I need to think about this for a minute…

    (review and consideration)

So the ‘day to day’ actions are my free will, that allow me to choose rightly or wrongly. This free will is what is the fruit of the condition of my heart, which you will help me with aligning to your will. But you are ultimately in control of the larger ‘path’ of my life and will not allow that path to steer away from holiness. Is that correct?

    That’s well said, Michael.

Wow. I love you Lord. I cherish this time with you. Thank you for the insight you share.

Thank you for opening yourself to My insight and direction.
