Logic Lock

Today I asked if there was anything about God that He would like to teach or reveal to me. At first, there was no response. But I focused on opening myself up, letting go and inviting Him in.

He showed me that:

Similar to how it is impossible for a child to understand an adult’s logic, it is also impossible for you to understand My logic. Humans reason linearly (branches), whereas truth simply ‘is’. For any questions, there is a ‘truth’, but the issue is whether a human can derive that truth with his own means. Man can perceive truth, but is held mentally captive by a ‘logic lock’ that limits his ability to accept and act on that truth, unless he’s somehow been able to convince himself of the validity of the perceived truth.

So the question becomes: “How can I be guided by God’s truth? And how can I know that what I am perceiving as truth is in fact coming from, or in alignment with, God’s truth, if my own logic may not be able to confirm it?”

I asked for His wisdom about talking to my manager about my job situation / opportunity. I asked:

How should I approach the discussion?

His response was:

In truth. Truth just is. Be true and I’ll handle the rest.

I really don’t need to or want to manipulate the situation. I just need to know what the best options are.
