Lord, thank you for the opportunity to share and receive council today from [BB]. I thank you for your work in him, and pray for your presence and healing with the issues he shared with me today. Give him peace Lord. Please help him understand what it truly means to trust you, to surrender control to you. I pray these things in your name, Christ Jesus, my Lord and Savior.

I ask if there is anything you would have me write that you intend for him to read, Lord. I wonder if this is a way that you would like to use me.

Michael, be careful. You need to be sure you’re already in dialog with me before asking me to speak to others through you.

Understood. When you say be careful, does that mean that if I’m not already in dialog with you and I open myself to be a conduit for your wisdom intended for others, that I could be opening myself up to evil forces?

It’s possible. That’s why I need you to exercise extreme caution in doing so. You can validate my word against the Bible, if it has to do with doctrine. You can validate my word against your life as it is personal in nature. Allowing me to speak to others through you, though, is different in nature – you have no way to validate that you’re hearing from me.

That’s true.. am I ready to even ask this of you then?

You can ask anytime you want, but I won’t respond until you’re ready. You’re not quite there yet. [BB] can learn much from reading what you’ve already written, even in the context of your life. Allow him to start there. You’re still gathering council, which will take a while longer. Once that is complete, you will have a better foundation from which to ask for my word as it applies to others lives.

I understand. Thank you for your wisdom. In that case, I simply pray that you reveal your love and wisdom to [BB] more each day. Please help him to recognize, accept and submit to your presence and your will. Please let that submission be the path toward peace.

I am already working in his life, in ways you nor he could not possibly imagine.

Lord, I pray specifically that you provide peace from his anxiety.

You know that peace comes through a process of growth. You’ve written about it a number of times.

Then please reveal that path of growth to him.

    It’s before him.

    Would you be more specific?

No. He’ll need to come to me for specifics.

Michael, you have journaled for approximately five months now. Do you think you are wiser for it?

Absolutely, Lord. I know that I am wiser because I’ve learned to trust you more. I am more readily obedient.

Good – that’s right Michael. Your wisdom can be measured by your obedience. The wisest thing you could possibly do is come to me for guidance and support.

Why did you ask if I thought I was wiser for my journaling?

Why do you think you are wiser? What about the journaling made you wiser?

Putting the dialog on paper helps to crystallize the wisdom. It allows me to narrowly focus on the words being spoken, so it reduces the distraction. It also helps a great deal to be able to review prior notes. I expect that it will be very valuable to eventually see the progression from a higher level, so I can potentially see my own path before me.

Well, you already know which direction you are heading (toward wisdom and holiness), you won’t know much more than that regarding your future. But everything else you said is very real – for you and for others. You keep doubting that something that you produce could be valuable to others. You keep limiting yourself by thinking that you don’t have as much to offer since you’re not a pastor or Bible scholar. Nothing could be further from the truth. You have a unique perspective, and a unique approach that others will find very helpful to them in their communion with me. It’s not the only perspective and approach that provides communion with me, but it is an effective one. Keep doing what you’re doing – seek council, search the scriptures, continue loading your older journal entries, continue coming to me often (daily is what I call you to). Once you’ve reached the point where your doubt is behind you, you will have real potential to serve my kingdom.

Lord, I am sorry for my doubt. I am sorry for my dependence on other people’s confirmation.

I forgive you Michael. You will get past this and will be more effective for having gone through it. Your path will provide others comfort and reassurance as they fight a similar spiritual battle – there is purpose behind this struggle. Stay true to me and consistent in our communion and all will be revealed in due time – the plan will make sense in the end.

I trust that Lord. Thank you for being with me.
