Lord, I am here to receive your wisdom. It is so amazing to me that our relationship has blossomed to the point that I now look forward to and trust that I will hear your voice in prayer. As I write this, I can sense you speaking to me and I’m trying to catch up with my handwriting. I need a better way.

Michael, be still. You know why our relationship is blooming.

    It’s obedience, right?

Correct, Michael. You have and are showing your love and fear of me on an almost daily basis now. You will see the fruit in your life. Know that it is a causal relationship – obedience causes a close relationship to be possible. Even in dark times, you have shown faith, and that has been and will be rewarded. You are taking your commitments seriously, which will also be rewarded.

Thank you Lord. I feel that this handwriting is not effective. Would it be better for me to use a netbook to record our prayer time?

I’ll leave the ROI on that decision to you – it’s your choice.

Seems pretty clear to me. Return is more wisdom per hour. Investment is a few hundred dollars. I think it’s funny / interesting you put it that way: ROI.

Michael, I speak to you in a manner that you are most prepared to receive. In actuality your mind is involved most of the time in translating pure thought / pure truth, into language you understand and will relate and respond to. I can override or force language to be used, but generally it isn’t needed.

    Was the Bible forced language?

The Bible is inspired, and is my word. The rest is not a question for you to address at this time.

It’s funny / interesting to me how you continue to keep me in check with my line of thinking. Thank you for that. I invite you to keep my mind focused on what is important.

Which brings us back to your muse. You haven’t done anything Michael. You read, but don’t do. You listen but don’t do. What are you waiting for? The red carpet is before you. Take the first step. I told you the process won’t be perfect. You don’t have anything to fear.

I don’t know why I have stalled on it. I have plenty of excuses about why I couldn’t spare the time.

Tomorrow is never, Michael. Resolve to take a step tonight. Spend an hour on it and see where it takes you.

    Ok Lord, I will.
