The Source of Truth

I’ve realized the practical importance of the Bible. Not only is it the word of God, communicating his redemptive plan for us and providing us with insight into his mind. It is the one and only Source of Truth. In a world where truth is subjective, ideas are communicated as truth and may not even be aware of their own fallibility, the Bible is reliable as the one Truth. The one collection of information and guidance for our lives that can be taken at face value. Not that everything else must be constantly analyzed, but everything else should be assimilated within the framework of the ultimate truth, to most easily separate truth from people’s intentions or the world’s confusion.
