Divine Plan

The word of God may not mean this OR that on any given issue, but this AND that.  Should we really put it past our God that He couldn’t align events so that His word has multiple meanings in different contexts?

Home study example (The Rock Church – San Diego)

• 6-12 (more than 12, forced split)
• Led by a facilitator (not a leader) – encourages participation
• All you do is lead the discussion – not necessarily have the answers – and encourage participation
• Church attendance requires small group participation
• If you’re late, you’re out
• More persecution-proof
• Purpose is to learn / grow – not necessarily primarily evangelism
• It’s not an outreach – joining requires approval
• The only boast should be the Lamb
• The Spirit leads
