Dabbling in Facebook

I have been dabbling in Facebook recently and have re-connected with a few old friends.  Today I wrote to Angela, and have been writing with Alice for a couple weeks.  I feel good about it; it’s good to see them doing well.

Journaling Benefits

After not having journaled in a week, it’s very evident that the very act of journaling brings with it a higher level of engagement in the learning, which results in greater insights and retention.

Dealing with Addiction

In response to my 10/21 entry about the Xbox game, I did purchase the game – and it’s a great game – but my focus has remained on Christ, which is evidence that my heart is right.  It hasn’t been something I have struggled with avoiding, but more like I’ve preferred Bible study.  I play the game about once per week for 3-5 hours at a sitting (at night when [my middle daughter] is in bed).
